Sierra de Bernia Ruta PR-V7

El PR-V7 Bèrnia es una senda de corto recorrido totalmente señalizada mediante dos rayas paralelas, blanca y amarilla, de homologación internacional. Hay agua en los puntos I, II y III y puede ser cubierta con un mínimo de preparación física. El tiempo estimado es de 5h para completarla aunque se pueden hacer pequeñas rutas entre los distintos puntos.

Esta ruta se puede recorrer en su totalidad partiendo de la Fuente del Garroferet (I), aunque también se puede acceder en coche hasta el punto donde se encuentra el área recreativa (II) a través de la vía grafiada en amarillo sobre el plano. Desde aquí hay un bonito recorrido con muy poca dificultad que nosotros hemos llegado a hacer incluso con niños y carros. El resto del circuito que recorre la cresta de la montaña  requiere mayor resistencia física pero es verdaderamente impresionante (puntos III y IV).

En el punto III se encuenta el Fort, los restos de una fortificación edificada durante el reinado de Felipe II para controlar y sofocar las revueltas de la población morisca.

En el punto IV encontramos El Forat, que no es otra cosa que un paso del lado sur de la Sierra al lado Norte, por el que se vuelve al fort y al punto de partida.

Muy recomendable aunque sólo sea para dar un pequeño paseo!

The PR-V7 Bèrnia is a  short path  haul fully marked by two parallel stripes, white and yellow, international approval. There is water in I, II and III and may be covered with a minimum of physical preparation. The estimated time is 5h to complete it but you can made smaller routes between points.

This route can be traveled in its entirety based on the Source of Garroferet (I), but also accessible by car to the point where is the recreation area (II)through the path drawn in yellow on the plan. From here there is a nice course with very little difficulty that we have got to do with children and even cars. The rest of the circuit that runs along the crest of the mountain requires more physical strength but is truly awesome (points III and IV).

In Section III we find the Fort, the remains of a fortification built during the reign of Felipe II to control and quell the riots of the Moorish population.

In Section IV we find the Forat, which is nothing but a step from the south side to the north , which returns you to the fort and to the starting point.

Highly recommended just to take a little walk and enjoy the view!
